Mazars easily manages documents, files and e-mails

Mazars' accountants and tax advisers have a user-friendly document management solution thanks to the combination of SharePoint and Macroview DMF. Managing documents, e-mails and other files is now very easy and efficient thanks in part to GeONE, says Frank Keessen, IT director at Mazars.

We are active in accountancy, tax advice and consultancy. Mazars' target group consists of (international) companies, public sector organisations, SME entrepreneurs and high net-worth individuals.'

'When I started here as IT director in 2013, digitalisation in our sector had already taken off. One of the challenges at Mazars Netherlands was to get colleagues at the 10 branches to work uniformly on digital. GeONE helped us set up a SharePoint information management system. This was later joined by the implementation of a Macroview DMF document management system.'

Getting all employees to work uniformly

'GeONE is working with IT supplier DotOffice for Mazars Netherlands. Together, GeONE and DotOffice have developed a formula in which house style, document creation and the management of documents, projects, files and mail are seamlessly integrated. Not only with each other, but also with our existing processes. That works very nicely. Before we partnered with GeONE, they let us take a look at another client of theirs.'

'By combining Macroview DMF with SharePoint, we now have a document management solution that is very user-friendly. Managing documents, e-mails and other files is very easy and efficient, where necessary, for example from Word or Outlook.

Thanks to GeONE, we are now able to easily store and retrieve all kinds of information. To be honest, we were ready for that. Especially as we serve more and more internationally operating clients. Our customer files and project information are now centrally and securely stored in a digital working environment. And available everywhere, whether documents, e-mail, files or other project information.'

'GeONE's consultants are flexible, work fast and pragmatic. They do what is needed, don't come in here with a wagonload of consultants. They also trained and guided our internal IT trainers well on SharePoint, Macroview DMF and DotOffice.

Serving customers even faster and better

Our customers? Basically, they don't notice anything of our switch to SharePoint and Macroview DMF. At most, we can now serve them better and faster, also because we can work more efficiently internally between our branches. The ability to digitally sign documents is extremely customer-friendly. We can now build an even more up-todate file for each customer. We want to further optimise this process in the coming years. In doing so, I see GeONE not only as a supplier, but also and especially as a reliable partner.'
